TRADE ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

How do I open a Trade / Wholesale account with D2G Scotland Ltd?

D2G Scotland Ltd supplies trade-only customers. To open an account, you must be purchasing on behalf of a registered business.

You can register in one of the following ways:

Warehouse Registration

If registering in person, you will be asked to provide two forms of business verification showing the company name and business address.

Examples include:

  • Business invoices

  • Company documentation

  • Official correspondence addressed to the business

This allows us to validate your trade status before activating the account.

Online Registration

You can also apply for a trade account via our website. Once submitted, applications are reviewed before approval. You will be notified once your account is activated.

ORDERING & PAYMENTS

What is the minimum order value and delivery charge for UK website orders?

  • Minimum order value: £350.00 (excluding VAT)

  • FREE UK delivery on orders over £650.00 (excluding VAT)

  • Orders below £650.00 incur a £30 delivery charge

  • A £10 residential delivery surcharge applies where relevant

How do I place an Export / International order?

Warehouse orders:

Customers collecting for export may be asked to provide company documentation and identification for VAT compliance purposes.

Website orders:

All international orders placed online must be collected by a registered shipping agent who can supply valid export documentation. This is a legal requirement for VAT handling.

My payment did not go through – what should I do?

If your payment fails, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assist with completing your order:

Can I pay by bank transfer?

Bank transfer is not enabled by default on our website.

If you are unable to pay by debit or credit card, please contact us and we will advise whether a bank transfer can be arranged.

Do you offer credit or payment terms?

No. All purchases with D2G Scotland Ltd are payment upfront only. We do not offer credit facilities.

My order arrived damaged – what should I do?

Any damage or delivery issues must be reported within 7 days of receipt.

  • Clear photographs of the damage

  • A brief description of the issue

Once reviewed, we will advise on the appropriate resolution, which may include credit, collection, or disposal.

Approved returns are normally processed as credit notes. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

Why is my invoice total lower than my website order?

As a live wholesale operation, stock availability can change quickly.

If an item is unavailable at the time of picking, it may be removed from the order, resulting in a lower final invoice value.

Can you deliver to a UK residential address?

Yes, delivery to mainland UK residential addresses is available.

Please note:

  • A £10 residential surcharge applies

  • D2G Scotland Ltd is a TRADE-ONLY wholesaler, not a consumer retailer

How do I cancel my order?

Website order cancellations must be requested within 24 hours of placing the order.

  • Requests after 24 hours may be accepted at our discretion

  • A 25% restocking charge may apply where cancellations are approved

DELIVERY INFORMATION

How long does delivery take?

Orders are usually dispatched within 5–7 working days.

During busy periods, please allow up to 10 working days from order placement.

Can I collect my order instead of having it delivered?

Yes. UK customers may select “UK COLLECTION” at checkout and collect once notified that goods are ready.

Do you deliver to Northern Ireland?

Yes.

  • Minimum order value: £1,500.00 (excluding VAT)

  • A valid TSS number and GB EORI number must be provided

Do you deliver to the Republic of Ireland?

Due to current Brexit-related regulations, direct deliveries to the Republic of Ireland are paused.

Orders may be arranged on an Ex-Works London basis.

Can you dropship directly to my customer?

No. D2G Scotland Ltd does not offer dropshipping services.

Do you offer product labelling or prep services?

No.

We operate as a wholesale distributor, not a prep or fulfilment centre.

Goods are supplied on pallets. While pallet labels can be applied, we do not label individual products or cartons.

I missed my delivery – what happens next?

Delivery details are emailed when your order leaves our warehouse.

If no response is received, the delivery date is assumed to be accepted.

  • Missed or failed deliveries will result in re-delivery charges

  • These costs will be invoiced separately

  • Any special delivery instructions must be entered at checkout

PRODUCT & BULK ORDERS

Can I place a bulk or special order?

Bulk purchasing depends on the product and supplier availability.

For special orders:

  • A 25% non-refundable deposit is required

  • The balance must be paid before dispatch

How do I know if an item is sold in packs or cases?

On our website:

  • PK indicates pack quantity

  • Example: PK6 = sold in packs of 6 units

I need a higher quantity than shown online – can you help?

Possibly. Availability depends on supplier stock.

Please contact us with the product details and required quantity, and we will check availability.

Can you provide a full product data feed or stock spreadsheet?

No. We do not currently provide downloadable data feeds or full stock spreadsheets.

All available product information is displayed on our website.

Can you provide commodity (HS) codes?

Commodity codes are not listed on invoices or product pages.

If required for your own customs arrangements, these can be sourced independently. We are unable to add them to invoices.
